AIDP Video Forge: GPU video encoding at 16x

GPU video processing on decentralized compute, with GPU encoding through NVENC.

AIDP Video Forge runs video processing on GPUs. In the repo’s benchmark, a 10-minute 4K encode takes 45 minutes on the CPU (libx264) and 2.8 minutes on an RTX 3090. That is the 16x figure.

The speedup comes from NVENC. The README lists 15 to 20x for H.264 encoding and 20 to 30x for HEVC, with the VMAF quality score at 95.8, close to the cloud baseline it compares against.

The code is in the aidp-video-forge repo. The inference side of the project is in the AIDP post.
