The Purple Squirrel
Recruiters use “purple squirrel” for the candidate who can’t possibly exist: the engineer who can sell, the salesperson who can ship. I named my company after it, then spent years earning the name.
I build AI systems and developer tools, and I sell them. Most people pick one. I’ve done both for a living.
At ZetaChain, a $27M-funded platform backed by Jane Street, Vy Capital and Blockchain.com, I was one of three developer relations engineers. I owned events, documentation, developer tools, office hours, live streams and the Discord, and helped grow adoption to more than 10,000 active developers. I also built the platform’s MCP server, which made me the first engineer there to build with AI agents.
As Cross-Border Listing Manager at LBank Exchange I ran listings on a five-person team that closed more than $50M in listing sales: onboarding emerging ventures across the US–Latin America corridor, from first call to launch.
Through Purple Squirrel Media, which I founded in 2019, I ship the AI itself: MCP servers, agent tooling, a self-hosted inference layer, and websites for clients.

A five-person team, $50M+ in listing sales across the US–Latin America corridor. Ran technical and commercial onboarding end to end.

FAA-certified cabin crew out of Punta Gorda, Florida, and Grand Rapids, Michigan. I grew up the youngest in an Air Force family, so aviation came naturally.
